6-Inch Deluxe Reflector Kit
Earlier this school year, my class purchased one of your 6 inch kits and we constructed the telescope. You might want to look at my website. I kept a running review of how we were doing and linked to your web site. The Telescope is wonderful!
Well, the telescope arrived on the 15th of Feb. My 2 sons (9 and 7) and I had no trouble following the detailed instructions on the video tape. Thank you for such a quality product!!!!!!! We finished the telescope in about 3 hours which included waiting on the stain to dry on the mount. The sky was clear that night and my family had a wonderful time exploring the heavens. All of us were in awe as the rings of Saturn and Jupiter and it’s moons filled the eyepiece. My wife and I home-school our children and your telescope kit is a blessing to our science curriculum. The quality of your kit far surpasses the cost. Talk about getting more bang for the buck!! Please feel free to use these comments as an endorsement for your telescope kits. Sgr-4
Dear “Stargazer Steve”, I’m very happy with the Sgr-4 I got this summer. It was a pleasure dealing with you!
I’ve since joined the local astronomy club, and have been observing with them. I’ve gotten lots of positive comments about my Sgr-4 from club members when they’ve looked through it, and from members of the public when I’ve taken my telescope to public star parties.
More importantly, I’ve seen lots of neat things in the sky and I’m learning my way around: I not only know what M27 is, I can find it without a map.
The Rigel Quick-finder is easy to use, and the mounting is sturdy but light; the telescope holds collimation well. It’s also incredibly easy to set up: just pick it up and carry it out! That means I can use it any time, any where.
The Sgr-4’s wide field of view is great for things like the Double Cluster in Perseus, but I’ve been able to pump up the magnification and see Cassini’s Division in the rings of Saturn and belts on Jupiter.
This is a great telescope, and I recommend it strongly!
